information go to: YWA Homepage. The Yolo Basin Foundation offers a variety of environmental educational programs at the wildlife area in cooperation with the CA Department of Fish and Game. Putah Creek flows directly across the Yolo Bypass to the

egret   East Toe Drain, then on the Sacramento River and the Delta. The Wildlife Area is home to over a hundred thousand overwintering waterfowl such as this flying egret. Over 200 different species have been recorded.
