The Yolo County Parks and Resources Department is currently renovating the fishing
access sites. Plans for updates to the fishing access sites include: constructing
new trails at the most popular and highest use areas, installing educational panels,
and re-paving the access roads and parking areas. A large percentage of the new
trails will be graded to meet Title 24 standards, allowing access for everyone.
Sites #1 and #3 will have fishing platforms near the water.
The educational panels will focus on the natural, cultural and historical
resources of the area. An information kiosk at each site will give information on
the fishing access sites and other public access sites and recreation opportunities
in the area. New directional signage, gateway signs and public restrooms will
be installed.

| An educational brochure on the natural resources in the corridor is
being developed and will be shared with the public and other local conservation
groups and stakeholders.
