This pathway to the water's edge brings you to a serene lookout of Putah Creek as it flows through the interdam reach. This is one of the more scenic and beautiful stretches of Putah Creek as the creek flows more rapidly through the tree-lined stream channel.

Coyotes, foxes, raccoons, river otters, skunks, mule deer and bobcats are some of the animals seen on the public lands in the interdam reach (between Monticello Dam and the Putah Diversion Dam). Larger mammals like mountain lions and black bears are seen on rare occasions. One bear that once lived along here that you'll no longer see is the Grizzly Bear.
