Our Belief
We like to think we are changing the way people relate to the creek, in part because as the creek becomes a healthier resource, the creek promotes community health.
Every time someone digs their hands into the rich soil along the creek, sets a native plant into the ground, and experiences a bit of wildness in their own community, something changes inside that person.
Experiences change people. People change the world.
We have seen millions of dollars poured into habitat enhancement along Putah Creek over the past 10 years, and will see another $5 million in the next three. Wildlife and native insects are responding in numbers few imagined possible.
