Tree Care and Maintenance at Lake Solano Park

Registration is closed for this event
Saturday, October 23, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Day Use Side of Lake Solano Park

Join Putah Creek Council in a day of tending and maintaining trees at Lake Solano Park! We'll be caring for younger trees in the day use area to provide general maintenance and mulch. Native plants and trees improve water quality, habitat for birds, small mammals, and beneficial insects, and help prevent soil erosion. Join us for a morning among the trees!

  • We provide all the tools and supplies, including gloves.
  • We'll be meeting at 9:00 am and work until noon.
  • Volunteers do not need to pay the $8 vehicle parking fee. Don't forget to pick up a volunteer parking pass from PCC staff.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather in clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Don't forget your water bottle!
  • If you are under 18, you MUST bring this completed liability form with a parent's signature.
  • This event will happen rain or shine! Putah Creek Council will bring ponchos and mud boots if necessary.

Register through the link on the right, and see map with directions below. We look forward to working with you!
