Nature's Theater for Kids and Families - Explore Putah Creek
Are the kids in your life spending too much time in front of screen? Our antidote: a costumed walking story on Putah Creek!
Your children or grandchildren will find outdoor time irresistible with this adventurous Nature's Theater event along Putah Creek. Tweens and teens are invited to have an acting role in the story.
Lyndsay Dawkins and Jeff Fayln unlock children's imaginations on their theatrical outings of play and wonder. Costumed characters set up a nature story along the creek and children embark on a mini-quest to stop the Water Villain, meet other characters, and save the day. This experience offers children ages 4-10 a taste of being real-life heroes as they explore, play games, and interact with the characters. There will also be time for creek play in a shallow, gorgeous, private section of Putah Creek.
The location will be on a working walnut orchard and organic farm just east of Winters. A light lunch and drinks will be provided to the children afterward.
