June CreekSpeak: Putah Creek Interpretive Signage Workshop
Join Putah Creek Council's second CreekSpeak talk of 2019 on Thursday, June 20, 2019.
Putah Creek Council staff are working with multiple funders, partner organizations, and community members to develop interpretive panels for installation along Putah Creek in Winters. At this meeting, Education Program Manager Karin Young will present on the progress that has been made since the kickoff meeting in September 2018. Attendees will be active participants in editing and refining the draft signage - so bring your thinking caps!
The presentation begins at 7pm at the Winters Community Library Margaret Parsons Room (708 Railroad Ave, Winters).
The talks alternate between Davis and Winters on the third Thursday of the month*. Additional talks in 2019 will include:
- The Scaly, the Slimy, and the Many-Legged: Putah Creek's Underloved Critters with Dr. Jason Bond and Justin Clause (July 17, Winters)
- Mapping Putah Creek with JayLee Tuil (August 15, Davis)

*The July presentation will be on the third Wednesday to avoid conflict with the Winters Summer Concert series.
