Tour: Canoeing Putah Creek
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER WATERSHED WONDERS TOURS FOR ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
By special permission of private landowners, we invite you to canoe a section of Putah Creek on this fund raising tour.
Join Dr. Ted Sommer, Aquatic Ecology Program Manager with the state's Department of Water Resources, for an exclusive, guided canoe trip along a portion of Putah Creek between Winters and Davis. Ted has been active in programs and research designed to improve habitat for salmon and other native fish, and we will learn about a variety of local salmon spawning and riparian restoration efforts. A picnic lunch and canoes are included.
